Double Blepharoplasty No Scarring

Case Details

This 50 year old woman wanted to tighten her eye area to appear more youthful. Dr. Mark Epstein of Stony Brook, Long Island, NY performed a double eye blepharoplasty (eye lift) using an incision under the eyelash on the lower eyelid. A lateral canthopexy (tightening of the outer lower eyelid) was also performed. In the close up view, notice how the lower eyelid scars are non-existent. The upper eyelid incision is hidden in the eyelid crease and the patient looks very youthful and bright-eyed.
