Very typical of the aging process, this patient was becoming unhappy with the sagging skin around her cheek and neck, and extra skin around her eyes.  She decided to go for a complimentary consultation at the Austin-Weston Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Reston, VA.  After discussing possibilities of facial rejuvenation procedures with one of the plastic surgeons, they decided she was going to have a face and neck lift, an upper lid blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), and a lip lift and vermilion advancement.  A lip lift and a vermilion advancement is a common procedure for treating an aged upper lip and one basic approach to add volume.
