In Peoria, Dr, Jones has focused on Cosmetic surgery of the face and body and has continued his life long passion of treating women with breast cancer. In 2009 he re-wrote Bostwick’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breast 3rd. Edition, which is the most widely read textbook on plastic surgery of the breast in the world today. He is co-editor with Karen Berger of the popular lay book on breast cancer, A Woman’s Decision. He is currently writing a new book on facelifting as well as co-editing a new 2 volume textbook on reconstructive flaps. He has instigated several new research projects on breast surgery and new techniques in tissue monitoring and facelift techniques. He has been a key investigator in the development of the new SPYÒ imaging system for evaluating tissue blood flow in reconstructive breast surgery and helped pioneer the use of acellular dermal matrices in breast surgery. He is a sought after speaker, and continues to lecture and train plastic surgeons throughout the USA as well as internationally, speaking in Canada, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has published hundreds of articles and book chapters and is recognized as an international authority on Plastic Surgery.
