Lonergan, DO is a native of New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Dr. Lonergan graduated summa cum laude with the highest graduating GPA for both his major and the College of Science and Liberal Arts at NJIT. Dr. Lonergan completed medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school, he completed a five-year residency in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery in Dayton, Ohio through the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and facial plastic surgery. After residency, Dr. Lonergan completed a two-year general plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. In addition, Dr. Lonergan has completed a prestigious one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship in Seattle, Washington through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
