Dr. Michael Vennemeyer, plastic surgeon, specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery for women. He has offices in Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky, but he sees patients from all over the country. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is the only Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties for certifying plastic surgeons. This is one of the few ways that prospective patients have of telling the difference between plastic surgeons who are qualified to perform their procedures and those who merely claim to be by virtue of “certification” by other or dis-reputable boards. Dr. Vennemeyer is a candidate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, which invites only plastic surgeons who are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to become members.
Not surprisingly, Dr. Vennemeyer was recognized as one of America’s Top Surgeons in the field of Plastic Surgery by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in 2010. An innovator, Dr. Vennemeyer holds a provisional patent for designing a post breast augmentation bra and sizing system.

Background, Education and Training
Originally from the Dayton area, Dr. Vennemeyer graduated summa cum laude from his pre-medical studies at The Ohio State University. He then completed four years of medical school at Ohio State. Next, he completed five additional years of residency training in the highly competitive field of Plastic Surgery at Ohio State University Medical Center. After finishing 13 years of extensive education and residency training, Dr. Vennemeyer joined Metropolitan Plastic Surgery in Columbus, Ohio to develop a cosmetic surgery program at the affiliated hospital. His practice included cosmetic surgery and difficult reconstructive cases. Committed to patient education, he developed a Nip and Tuck cosmetic surgery lecture series and volunteered at a second opinion breast cancer clinic. During his time in Columbus, he participated in training residents specializing in plastic surgery. Accomplished in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Vennemeyer joined Loftus Plastic Surgery Center in 2010 to dedicate his practice entirely to aesthetic procedures for women.
